Set in the historic harbour area of Limenas on Thassos, A for Art Hotel is a distinctive adults-only boutique property that reimagines a former tobacco warehouse as a contemporary, design-led retreat rooted in the island’s cultural heritage.

Originally built in 1907, the building retains its original architectural character, with its preserved façade contrasting against a bold, modern interior shaped in collaboration with KARE Design. Contemporary artworks, statement furnishings and layered textures create a visually expressive environment, where heritage and modern design are brought together with a confident, creative edge.

The 20 rooms and suites continue this design narrative, each individually styled with artistic details and a mix of modern and vintage influences. Select rooms feature balconies overlooking the old port or gardens, while interiors prioritise character, colour and a sense of individuality over uniformity.

Dining is centred around Atelier, where Mediterranean cuisine highlights local ingredients and regional flavours, while The Maypole Restaurant & The Lost Sheep offer additional dining options.
