These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Chic Escapes website and any accommodation booking made through it. By using this website or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Chic Escapes is a trading name of Travelcube Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 1650056 with its registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
Throughout these Terms & Conditions, "Chic Escapes", "we", "our" and "us" refer to Travelcube Group Ltd. "You" and "your" refer to the person making a booking and all members of the travelling party named on that booking.
Chic Escapes acts as an intermediary between you and the accommodation provider or supplier. We do not own, manage or operate the accommodation featured on this website unless expressly stated otherwise.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it, interfere with its operation, introduce malicious software or use automated systems to extract data without our prior written consent.
We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access to the website where we reasonably believe these Terms & Conditions have been breached.
Some areas of the website may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity carried out under your account.
You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account and notify us promptly if any information changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that contain inaccurate information or are used in breach of these Terms & Conditions.
By making a booking through Chic Escapes, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
The person making the booking accepts responsibility for all payments due and confirms that they have authority to act on behalf of all members of the travelling party.
Chic Escapes offers accommodation-only bookings. We do not sell flights and do not create package holidays or linked travel arrangements.
Accommodation displayed on the website is offered subject to availability and confirmation by the relevant supplier.
A booking request does not constitute acceptance of a booking. Your booking becomes confirmed only when payment has been received and the booking has been reconfirmed by the accommodation provider.
All prices displayed on the website are shown in the currency stated and include applicable taxes unless otherwise indicated.
Local taxes, tourism taxes, resort fees, environmental charges or similar fees imposed by local authorities or accommodation providers may be payable directly to the property and will be shown where known.
Full payment is normally required at the time of booking. Where a deposit payment option is available, the deposit amount, balance due date and payment schedule will be displayed before booking. Failure to pay any outstanding balance by the specified due date may result in cancellation of the booking and any payments made may be forfeited in accordance with the supplier's terms and conditions.
In the event of an obvious pricing error or technical error, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and provide a full refund.
Following payment, your booking will initially be processed for confirmation with the accommodation provider.
Your booking is only confirmed when you receive confirmation from us and the booking is marked as confirmed within your account or booking documentation.
Until confirmation has been received, you should not make any non-refundable travel arrangements connected with your stay.
Cancellation and amendment policies are determined by the accommodation provider and are displayed before booking.
Flexible bookings may allow changes or cancellation before the specified deadline. Non-refundable bookings cannot normally be changed, cancelled or refunded.
Any cancellation or amendment request must be submitted through Chic Escapes. We will forward your request to the supplier and advise you of the outcome.
Refunds are entirely subject to the cancellation terms applicable to the booking and the approval of the accommodation provider or supplier.
Where a refund is approved by the accommodation provider or supplier, it will normally be returned to the original payment method within 14 days of receipt from the supplier. All approved refunds are subject to a 10% administration and processing fee, which will be deducted from the amount refunded unless otherwise stated.
We strongly recommend that all travellers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, curtailment, medical expenses, personal belongings and travel disruption.
Chic Escapes accepts no responsibility for costs incurred that would otherwise have been recoverable under an appropriate insurance policy.
You are responsible for ensuring that you hold valid passports, visas, travel authorisations and any other documentation required for your trip.
It is your responsibility to check health requirements, entry restrictions and local regulations applicable to your destination.
We accept no liability where you are unable to travel due to incomplete or invalid documentation.
We make every reasonable effort to ensure that accommodation descriptions, facilities, photographs and other information displayed on the website are accurate at the time of publication.
Accommodation providers may make changes to facilities, services or room features without notice. Images are intended to provide a general representation only.
We cannot guarantee that all information supplied by third-party accommodation providers will remain accurate at all times.
All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant accommodation provider or supplier.
By making a booking through Chic Escapes, you agree to comply with any rules, policies and conditions imposed by the supplier, including cancellation policies, occupancy limits and property rules.
Chic Escapes acts solely as an intermediary between you and the accommodation provider.
We are responsible for arranging your booking with the supplier but are not responsible for the operation, management or delivery of accommodation services provided by third parties.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chic Escapes shall not be liable for loss, injury, illness, damage, delay, disappointment or additional expenses arising from the acts or omissions of accommodation providers or other third parties.
These Terms & Conditions do not affect any statutory rights available to you under the laws of England and Wales.
We shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, industrial disputes, war, civil unrest, government action or transport disruption.
If you experience a problem during your stay, you should raise it immediately with the accommodation provider so that it has an opportunity to resolve the issue.
If the matter remains unresolved, please contact Chic Escapes as soon as reasonably possible.
Any formal complaint should be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of your stay together with any supporting evidence.
All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, branding and design elements, is owned by or licensed to Chic Escapes and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
No content may be reproduced, copied, distributed or used without our prior written permission.
Your personal information will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
By making a booking, you consent to receiving communications relating to your booking and account. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
Chic Escapes sells accommodation-only bookings. Flights are not sold through the platform and bookings made through Chic Escapes are not covered by any flight-based financial protection schemes.
Payments are collected by Chic Escapes and passed to the relevant accommodation provider or supplier in accordance with our commercial agreements.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms & Conditions or your use of the website shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
