Set directly on Ornos Beach, Adorno Suites is a laid-back, adults-oriented retreat that blends bohemian styling with classic Cycladic architecture, creating a relaxed beachfront base with a more intimate, boutique feel than many of Mykonos’ larger properties.
Spread across a low-rise complex just steps from the shoreline, the design leans into a softer, more textured interpretation of island style. Whitewashed walls and wooden pergolas are paired with woven details, pastel shutters and shaded terraces, giving the space a warm, slightly more informal character that feels connected to both the beach and the surrounding landscape.
Accommodation ranges from rooms to maisonettes, with options such as the Premium Maisonette Private Pool and Honeymoon Suite Private Pool offering more privacy and outdoor space. Many feature terraces or direct access to private or shared pools, while interiors maintain a consistent bohemian aesthetic with handcrafted touches, natural materials and a focus on comfort without overstatement.
The restaurant provides a relaxed dining option with Mediterranean-inspired dishes built around fresh, local ingredients, while the beachfront bar and poolside areas offer a more casual setting for drinks and lighter fare throughout the day. The emphasis remains on easy, unfussy dining that fits naturally with the setting.
Days here tend to revolve around the beach and pool, with Ornos offering a more sheltered and accessible stretch of coastline compared to some of the island’s more exposed beaches. For those looking to explore further, Mykonos Town is a short drive away, with cycling and other activities providing additional ways to experience the island.
Located in Ornos, the hotel is approximately 3 km from Mykonos Airport and within easy reach of Mykonos Town, as well as nearby beaches including Psarou.
We’ve always liked Ornos for its easier, more relaxed feel, and this fits it well — right by the beach, stylish without trying too hard, and an easy place to settle into for a few days.
