Safari Experience

Morning and afternoon game drives explore Makgadikgadi Pans National Park in search of lion, elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, zebra, kudu, impala, jackal, caracal and many other species that depend on the river throughout the year.

The annual zebra migration is the defining spectacle. Every year, thousands of zebra and wildebeest move towards the Boteti River, creating Africa's second largest land mammal migration. As enormous herds gather along the riverbanks, predators follow close behind, producing dramatic wildlife encounters that rank amongst Botswana's finest.

One of the lodge's most distinctive experiences is its concealed river hide, positioned at water level directly beside the Boteti River.
