Lodging

Accommodation is limited to five spacious canvas suites, each raised on timber decking with uninterrupted views across the floodplains. Inspired by the classic African safaris of the 1920s, the interiors combine rich timber, leather, brass and handcrafted furnishings with generous indoor and outdoor living spaces. Private plunge pools, deep soaking tubs, expansive verandas and open-air showers encourage guests to spend as much time enjoying the landscape as relaxing within the suite itself, where elephants, antelope and birdlife frequently pass by.

Safari Experience

Duba Plains is widely regarded as one of Botswana's finest destinations for predator viewing. Lions, leopards and spotted hyenas patrol the floodplains, while large herds of buffalo, red lechwe, tsessebe and other antelope create a rich prey base that sustains remarkable wildlife encounters throughout the year. Elephants are seen daily, giraffe browse the islands and the waterways support healthy populations of hippo and crocodile.

Game drives explore a remarkable variety of habitats, from open grasslands and seasonal floodplains to dense woodland and permanent channels. Experienced guides adapt every outing to wildlife movements, often spending time observing natural behaviour rather than rushing between sightings, allowing guests to enjoy a deeper understanding of the Delta's extraordinary ecosystem.
