Positioned where the Selinda Spillway flows towards the Linyanti River, Selinda Camp occupies one of northern Botswana's most rewarding wildlife regions. Accommodation

Accommodation comprises just three spacious tented suites together with a separate two-bedroom Selinda Suite. Built beneath traditional thatch on raised timber decks, each suite blends natural timber, brass, copper and handcrafted furnishings with generous indoor and outdoor living spaces inspired by the colours and elements of the surrounding landscape.

Private plunge pools, expansive verandas and beautifully appointed bathrooms create a relaxing retreat between safari activities, while uninterrupted views across the Spillway keep the wilderness constantly within sight.

Bush breakfasts after sunrise game drives, relaxed lunches beneath the trees and elegant dinners beneath Botswana's night skies are complemented by an impressive wine cellar and attentive yet understated service. Private dining on your own veranda can also be arranged for those seeking a quieter experience.

Safari Experience

The Selinda Reserve is renowned for both the diversity and quality of its wildlife encounters. Early morning and afternoon game drives explore open floodplains, woodland and riverine habitats in search of elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, giraffe, zebra and the reserve's famous African wild dog packs. Every drive is shaped by wildlife movements rather than fixed routes, allowing guides to spend time observing natural behaviour as sightings develop.

Full-day safaris with picnic breakfasts and lunches provide the opportunity to venture further into the reserve, while night drives reveal a fascinating world of nocturnal wildlife including lion, hyena and many of the bush's lesser-seen mammals. Guided walks offer a slower perspective, introducing guests to animal tracks, birdlife and the smaller details often missed from a vehicle.

When water levels permit, boating along the Selinda Spillway provides a completely different way to experience the landscape, bringing elephants, hippos and abundant birdlife into close view from the water.
