Accommodation

Accommodation comprises three spacious canvas guest tents together with a two-bedroom family tent, all thoughtfully positioned for privacy beneath the riverside woodland. Campaign-style furnishings, handcrafted details and natural fabrics create a warm, understated atmosphere that reflects the camp's explorer heritage without compromising comfort.

Each tent features generous sleeping and dressing areas, an en-suite bathroom and a private veranda overlooking the surrounding bush. Designed to immerse guests in the landscape, they provide a peaceful retreat where birdsong, distant lion calls and passing wildlife become part of everyday life.

Dining

Dining is relaxed, flexible and centred around the day's activities. Bush breakfasts, leisurely lunches and candlelit dinners are prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients and served beneath canvas, around the fire or in carefully chosen locations out in the wilderness. Safari Experience

Selinda Explorers Camp is perfectly suited to travellers who enjoy an active safari. Early morning and afternoon game drives explore the varied landscapes surrounding the Selinda Spillway, where experienced guides follow wildlife movements through woodland, open plains and permanent water in search of exceptional sightings.

The area is renowned for its healthy populations of lion, leopard, African wild dogs and cheetah, together with large herds of elephant and buffalo. Giraffe, zebra, sable, roan and eland are all encountered here, while prolific birdlife makes every outing rewarding regardless of the season.

Guided walks form an important part of the experience, offering the opportunity to appreciate the bush from a completely different perspective.
