The camp comprises just seven spacious luxury tents, including Superior Tents, Honeymoon Tents and Family Tents, all carefully positioned for privacy and uninterrupted views across the surrounding landscape. Contemporary interiors blend canvas, natural timber and handcrafted furnishings with understated African style, creating spaces that feel elegant yet completely at home in the bush.

Every tent features a generous bedroom, beautifully appointed bathroom and its own private plunge pool overlooking the wilderness. Large decks provide the perfect place to unwind between game drives as wildlife moves quietly through the surrounding plains.

Safari Experience

Sala's Camp enjoys access to one of the Maasai Mara's most wildlife-rich regions, where lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant, buffalo and countless plains game are encountered throughout the year. Experienced guides tailor every drive around changing wildlife movements, ensuring no two safaris are ever quite the same.

From July until September, the surrounding plains become the stage for the Great Migration as more than a million wildebeest and zebra arrive from the Serengeti. Dramatic river crossings, relentless predator action and immense grazing herds create one of the natural world's greatest spectacles, all within easy reach of the camp.

Outside the migration months, the Mara remains every bit as rewarding. Resident predators, healthy populations of game and exceptional birdlife ensure outstanding wildlife viewing in every season, while clear evening skies make stargazing another memorable part of every stay.
