Reached only after travelling deep into the park, Luwi embraces a slower rhythm where the sounds of the bush replace everything else. Nestled beneath a grove of ancient mahogany trees beside the seasonal Luwi River, the camp overlooks open floodplains and a permanent oxbow lagoon that attracts wildlife throughout the day. Accommodation is limited to just four beautifully appointed safari tents, creating an intimate atmosphere where every guest enjoys complete privacy. Wildlife & Seasons

Open from May until mid-November, Luwi showcases South Luangwa at its finest. As the dry season progresses, wildlife gathers around the permanent lagoon and nearby water sources, creating increasingly rewarding sightings of lions, elephants and the region's celebrated leopard population. September to November also brings the arrival of spectacular colonies of colourful carmine bee-eaters, while late October and November offer excellent opportunities to encounter endangered African wild dogs as they become increasingly active around the camp.
