The Ivi Mare in Kato Paphos is a beautiful, modern beachfront hotel with a quieter, more considered feel than most along this stretch of coastline.

What defines it is how contained everything is. The main pool sits directly against the seafront, and that single line of space is where the stay plays out. You come down in the morning, take a lounger, and from that point you are set for the day without needing to move or rethink where you should be.

That changes the pace completely. There is no sense of chasing the best spot or timing your day around the hotel. It is already in front of you, and the atmosphere holds steady because of it, never busy, never flat, just consistently easy to sit within.

Staying

Rooms are finished in a clean, modern style that does not date quickly, with enough space to settle in properly rather than just use as a base. Balconies are wide enough to sit out comfortably, and the sea view rooms are the ones that shift the feel of the stay, bringing light and movement into the space throughout the day.

The private outdoor hot tub rooms are where the hotel starts to separate itself. They are not just an added feature, they give you a second place to spend time, especially in the early evening when the main areas begin to slow. It is a simple upgrade, but one that noticeably changes how the stay feels across a full week.

Dining is where the hotel holds its ground. Palettes runs the main service which it does superbly through ever changing culinary variety rather than excess.

Alati Greek Flavours is the more focused option, built around traditional dishes in a setting that slows things down. It feels separate from the main restaurant, and that difference matters when you want the evening to feel like more than another meal in the same place.

Fiki Japanese Fusion is the strongest of the three and the one that changes the tone of the stay. It gives you a completely different direction for the evening, and it is the restaurant you end up returning to rather than just trying once.

The bars are positioned exactly where they need to be. The indoor bar takes over naturally in the evening, while the pool bar carries the daytime without pulling focus away from the main space.

Experience

The pool is large enough to work without pressure, even when the hotel is full, and the built in jacuzzi section adds a second layer without turning it into a feature. More importantly, it sits directly on the seafront, so you are always looking outward rather than back into the hotel.

You move between lounger, water and sea without thinking about it, which is exactly how it should feel. There is no need to break the day into parts or relocate as it goes on.

Wellness

The spa and gym are well set up and easy to drop into when you want them, but they stay in the background rather than trying to define the stay.

Where

The hotel is in Kato Paphos, around 10 minutes by car from the harbour and roughly 6 kilometres from Paphos International Airport, close enough for easy access without pulling you into the busier centre.
