If you like a hotel with a real sense of setting, this is a good one — the views over Ermones Bay are genuinely impressive, and it works particularly well if you book one of the private pool rooms and lean into the slower pace of the west coast.

The resort is arranged across a series of stepped buildings that follow the natural contours of the hillside, creating a layout that feels open and expansive rather than concentrated. As you move through the property, the view shifts and reappears, while the surrounding cypress, eucalyptus and pine soften the overall scale. It’s a setting that feels more dramatic than the island’s east coast, but balanced by the greenery that wraps around it.
