Breakfast begins with fresh local ingredients and views across the bay, while the bars and restaurants allow the mood to change naturally as the day unfolds. A long lunch beside the sea can become an afternoon on the beach, and live music brings extra energy to selected evenings without losing the easy coastal character of the resort.

Experience

Two outdoor pools give San Antonio very different places to spend the day. The elevated pool appears almost suspended above Kalami Bay, while the lower pool sits closer to the olive grove and shoreline. Both make the most of the view, although the clear Ionian water below is always a persuasive alternative.

Kalami Beach brings swimming, snorkelling, diving, canoeing and other water sports directly into the stay, but hiring a small boat is one of the best ways to understand this coastline. The northeast of Corfu is threaded with coves, beaches and waterfront villages that are particularly rewarding from the sea, with Kassiopi adding a livelier harbour town further along the coast.
