Dining

FLYA gives the hotel's food a distinctly Corfiot identity. Executive Chef Spyros Voulismas draws on local ingredients and traditional island recipes, interpreting them through a contemporary Mediterranean menu that feels closely connected to the landscape surrounding the restaurant.

Breakfast moves easily between continental, Greek and plant based choices, while later meals bring local produce and Mediterranean flavours to the fore. Cooking classes and themed dinners add another dimension for guests interested in Corfu's food culture, and the bar carries the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel through drinks beside the pool and into the evening.

Experience

The sea is a fundamental part of a stay at The Olivar Suites. Messonghi Beach lies directly alongside the hotel, with a private beach area and water sports complementing the main outdoor pool and the many private pools scattered through the olive grove. It is easy to spend entire days moving little further than the water, garden and terrace.

There is plenty of scope to see more of the island too. Cycling and walking tours lead away from the coast, while hiking and bike hire open up the countryside beyond Messonghi. Live music and occasional events bring a little more energy back to the hotel as the day moves into evening.
