Dining has enough breadth to remain interesting across a longer stay, with ten restaurants and bars providing a mixture of Cretan, Mediterranean and international cooking. The Amirandes Main Restaurant anchors breakfast and dinner, while Xasteria gives traditional Cretan cuisine a dedicated place within the collection.

Petrino turns towards Mediterranean cooking in a more intimate setting, while Blue Monkey introduces Asian flavours. Minotaur is the most distinctive dining room, pairing fine Mediterranean cuisine with a collection of genuine Picasso ceramics that gives the restaurant a character entirely its own.

The different locations matter as much as the menus. Lagoon terraces, beachfront tables and waterside bars allow dinner to feel different from one evening to the next, while poolside and beach service keep daytime dining considerably more relaxed.

Experience

Amirandes is designed for guests who want plenty to do without needing to leave the resort each day. Amirandes occupies a beachfront position at Gouves on Crete's northern coast, approximately 21 kilometres from Heraklion, 18 kilometres from Heraklion International Airport and around 23 kilometres from the Palace of Knossos.
