Sani Dunes

At the meeting point of Sani Marina and the Aegean shore, Sani Dunes is a contemporary five star retreat shaped around an extraordinary 3,500 square metre heated lagoon pool and its own beautifully serviced beach.

Water defines the architecture here. The lagoon winds through the heart of the hotel, running alongside rooms, suites and terraces before the landscape opens towards the sand and sea beyond. Low rise buildings and broad walkways keep the design horizontal and open, with long sightlines across the pool and towards the Aegean giving Sani Dunes a particularly spacious character.

The mood is sophisticated but easygoing, with contemporary interiors and a more grown up atmosphere that works especially well for couples and families with older children. Sani Marina is close enough to become part of everyday life, bringing boutiques, restaurants and evening activity within an easy stroll while the beach and enormous lagoon remain at the centre of the hotel itself.

Rooms & Suites

Rooms and suites sit either beside the lagoon or closer to the coast, making water views a recurring feature throughout the accommodation. Ground floor rooms open onto private gardens beside the pool, while upper level suites introduce grand balconies and a more elevated perspective across the resort.

The Deluxe Junior Suite Private Garden Side Sea View brings the shoreline into the experience, while the Deluxe One Bedroom Suite Grand Balcony Sea View provides generous indoor and outdoor space with the Aegean beyond. Family Rooms and One Bedroom Suites around the pool make particularly good use of the lagoon setting, keeping terraces and gardens closely connected to the water.

Dining

Dining has a distinctly contemporary feel. The Market is the hotel's relaxed all day hub, while Beach House brings Mediterranean cooking down to the shoreline. Fresco provides the more polished evening experience, with refined Italian cuisine giving dinner a sense of occasion without losing the relaxed spirit of the resort.

The Wine Bar adds another dimension, with a carefully chosen cellar and an intimate setting for drinks before or after dinner. Beyond Sani Dunes, the resort's Dine Around programme opens up the wider collection of Sani restaurants, with the marina making many of them particularly convenient for an evening away from the hotel.

Experience

The 3,500 square metre heated lagoon is the defining feature of Sani Dunes, its scale allowing different areas to develop their own atmosphere throughout the day. Immediately beyond lies the private beach, furnished with generous loungers and umbrellas and opening directly onto the clear waters of the Aegean.

Windsurfing, water skiing and diving make full use of the coast, while six tennis courts, cycling, hiking and other sports are available across the wider Sani estate. Evenings can include performances at the open air Garden Theatre, and the annual Sani Festival brings an internationally recognised programme of music to the peninsula each summer.

Wellness

The spa is impressively comprehensive, with six private treatment rooms, a dedicated couples suite with its own steam bath, a Thai massage cabin and an extensive menu of beauty and body therapies. An indoor pool, sauna, hammam, hot tub and fitness centre complete the facilities, creating a substantial wellness space away from the activity of the beach and lagoon.

Where

Sani Dunes occupies a particularly convenient position within Sani Resort on Halkidiki's Kassandra peninsula, with the beach on one side and Sani Marina close by on the other. This puts the restaurants, boutiques and evening life of the marina within easy reach while preserving the hotel's strong connection to the sea, giving guests two very different sides of Sani within the same stay.
