There is something particularly appealing about the simplicity of Cave Suites Milos. The architecture sits low against the rocky island landscape, using white surfaces, stone and soft natural tones to frame the brilliant blues outside. Nothing competes with the view, and from the moment you arrive the eye is drawn towards the sea and the broad sweep of the horizon.

Privacy is central to the experience. This is a small collection of suites rather than a conventional hotel, with each one given its own outdoor space and pool. The result feels wonderfully removed from the busier parts of the island while keeping Adamas, the beaches and the extraordinary volcanic coastline of Milos close enough to shape every day differently.

Rooms & Suites

There is just one accommodation category, the Superior Suite with Sea View & Private Pool, keeping the experience pleasingly consistent. Each suite accommodates up to three guests and opens onto a private terrace where the pool is positioned directly against the panoramic Aegean outlook.

Inside, the emphasis remains on light, space and comfort, with cool tiled floors, clean lines and an understated palette that suits the island beautifully. A coffee machine, refrigerator and seating space add useful touches, but the terrace is inevitably where the suite comes into its own.

Morning coffee beside the pool, an afternoon swim after exploring the island and a final hour outside as the light changes across the sea quickly become part of the rhythm here. Having that outdoor space entirely to yourself gives Cave Suites much of its intimate character.

Dining

Breakfast is one of the loveliest moments of the day. Served à la carte with local delicacies, it can be enjoyed in the privacy of the suite, turning the terrace and its sea view into your own breakfast room and allowing mornings to begin at an appropriately leisurely Milos pace.

For the rest of the day, Adamas provides an excellent choice of tavernas, cafés and waterfront restaurants. It encourages you to eat your way around the island rather than follow the same routine each evening, returning afterwards to the peace of your own pool and terrace.

Experience

Milos is the reason to venture out. Its volcanic landscape has created some of the most distinctive beaches in the Cyclades, and Sarakiniko, with its extraordinary white rock formations and brilliant blue water, is only around 1.3 kilometres from Cave Suites.

Hiking and diving offer different ways to experience the island, while car hire and the tour desk make it easy to reach its smaller fishing villages, remote coves and beaches. Adamas provides the natural starting point for boat trips around the coastline, opening up sections of Milos that are at their best when approached from the water.

Back at the suites, there is very little reason to fill the remaining hours. A private pool, a terrace and that uninterrupted horizon are exactly what you want to come home to after a day around the island.

Wellness

Relaxation here belongs to the suite itself, with the private pool and sun terrace providing a secluded place to spend an afternoon entirely at your own pace. The small scale, open views and peaceful setting give Cave Suites a natural sense of escape that feels particularly well matched to Milos.
