Our View
We really like OMEON for its small scale and easy Mykonos spirit, and we’d take a sea view suite with a private pool, keep the afternoon free and see where the evening around the pool takes us.
Above Agios Stefanos with the Aegean stretching towards the horizon, OMEON Mykonos is an intimate adults only hideaway of just 38 rooms and suites, pairing private pools and hot tubs with a distinctly sociable take on contemporary island life.
OMEON feels more like a small Mykonian neighbourhood than a conventional resort. Whitewashed buildings follow the contours of the hillside, connected by Mediterranean pathways and pockets of greenery, with the sea appearing between terraces and across the open spaces as you move through the hotel.
There is an appealing duality to the atmosphere. Mornings belong to breakfast, sunshine and the easy quiet of the pool, while later in the day the music rises and the hotel takes on a more playful character. With only 38 rooms, that change of pace remains intimate, giving OMEON personality without losing the pleasure of having your own corner to retreat to.
Rooms & Suites
Rooms and suites embrace the Cycladic setting through white interiors, tactile finishes and private outdoor spaces, with balconies, terraces and courtyards making the Mykonos sunshine an essential part of the accommodation. Inland facing Island Gaze Rooms provide the starting point, including a particularly appealing version with its own private pool.
Aegean Rooms turn towards the sea, with the option of a private hot tub for long afternoons and evenings outdoors. Aeon Suites provide considerably more space and come in several forms, from inland and sea view layouts to versions with plunge pools and full private pools.
The OMEON Signature Suites are the standout choice, combining generous interiors with wide Aegean views and either a private pool or hot tub. They capture the hotel at its best, with enough privacy to spend an afternoon entirely on your own terrace while the pool and social spaces remain close whenever you want them.
Dining
Antonino's Italian Restaurant & Bar gives the hotel a clear culinary identity, bringing Italian flavours to a relaxed setting that suits the easy progression from lunch in the sunshine to dinner after dark. Breakfast is equally unhurried, with buffet and à la carte choices providing a leisurely start before the pool begins to call.
The two bars play a larger role as the afternoon unfolds, with cocktails and music gradually drawing guests towards the hotel’s social spaces. Rather than separating dining and nightlife into different worlds, OMEON allows one to slip naturally into the other, creating evenings that can begin over dinner and continue around the pool.
Experience
The main pool is the heart of OMEON, framed by sunbeds and open views across the Aegean. It is a relaxed place to settle during the morning and early afternoon, before music and a livelier energy begin to change the mood towards sunset.
Agios Stefanos Beach and the island’s northern coastline are close at hand, while the concierge can open up the wider Mykonos scene of restaurants, beaches and celebrated beach clubs. Live music, DJs and evening events provide plenty of reasons to stay at the hotel too, particularly on nights when the atmosphere around the pool is exactly where you want to be.
Wellness
Wellness provides a welcome change of tempo, with spa treatments drawing on Greek traditions alongside massage therapies, yoga and fitness. The open air gym feels especially appropriate in this setting, while sunset yoga offers a gentler way to close the day before Mykonos moves into its evening rhythm.
Where
OMEON Mykonos sits above Agios Stefanos, around 650 metres from the beach, approximately 4 kilometres from Mykonos Town and around 6 kilometres from Mykonos International Airport.
