The beauty of The Coast is how completely it embraces the sea. There are no dramatic clifftop perspectives or long descents to the water here. The hotel sits at beach level, with pale stone, bleached wood and soft whites creating an elegant backdrop to the blue of Agios Ioannis Bay. Suites, terraces and shared spaces all face towards the Aegean, giving the entire hotel the easy rhythm of a sophisticated beach house.

Agios Ioannis itself is an important part of the appeal. The bay feels pleasantly removed from the island's more energetic beach scene, and the hotel has been designed to preserve that sense of space. Days unfold between the sea level pool, beach and private terraces, with Mykonos Town close enough to bring a completely different atmosphere whenever the mood changes.

The 25 suites are light filled and beautifully restrained, using local stone, pale timber and natural textures to keep attention on the sea beyond the windows. Beachfront Suites sit closest to the Aegean and introduce private plunge pools or jetted tubs, while the Grand Suites provide substantially more space and expansive pool terraces. Larger configurations extend to two bedroom accommodation and the exceptional four bedroom Grand Villa, creating the privacy of a standalone Mykonos residence with the service and dining of the hotel immediately at hand.

Dining gives The Coast considerably more depth than its intimate size might suggest. YĒVO brings a refined interpretation of Mediterranean cooking, built around seasonal ingredients and the produce of the Aegean, while Beefbar Mykonos takes a cosmopolitan approach to premium meats, seafood and dishes designed for sharing.

COOZEST belongs firmly to the beach, with relaxed dining close to the sand and sea providing an easy counterpoint to the more polished restaurants. Cocktails are given equal attention, making the transition from a late afternoon beside the water to dinner feel wonderfully effortless without ever needing to leave the shoreline.

Experience

The outdoor pool lies almost at sea level, creating a seamless connection between the hotel and Agios Ioannis Beach. Sunbeds, private terraces and the sand are all within steps of one another, so there is very little reason to plan the day beyond choosing between the pool and the Aegean.

For a change of pace, snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, fishing and horse riding can all be arranged, together with cooking experiences and days exploring further around Mykonos. Complimentary transfers between the Bill & Coo properties add another layer of flexibility, opening up more of the collection while keeping The Coast as the quieter beachfront base.

Agios Ioannis offers one of the loveliest balances on Mykonos, combining a beautiful beach and open Aegean views with straightforward access to Chora. The Coast makes particularly good use of that position, allowing days to remain entirely centred on the sea before Mykonos Town provides restaurants, bars and nightlife later in the evening.
