Our View
Summer Senses is a Paros resort we recommend with real confidence, especially for its fabulous pools, excellent spa and Galazia Hytra, which gives the food here a genuine edge.
Above Punda Beach on the east coast of Paros, Summer Senses Luxury Resort is a five star retreat of 100 rooms and suites, combining three expansive pools, ambitious Greek dining and private pool accommodation with wide Aegean views.
Summer Senses captures a more expansive side of Paros. Whitewashed buildings spread through gardens scented with bougainvillea, orange blossom and Mediterranean herbs, while terraces and pathways follow the landscape towards the sea. Parian marble, natural wood and crisp Cycladic forms give the resort a strong sense of place, with the brilliant island light doing much of the decorating.
The pools are central to life here. Two large freeform pools create generous spaces for swimming and sunbathing, joined by a shallow family pool and terraces that allow different parts of the resort to find their own rhythm. Beyond the gardens, the Aegean provides the backdrop and Punda Beach is close enough for the day to move easily between pool and sea.
Rooms & Suites
The 100 rooms and suites have a fresh contemporary Cycladic character, using wood, marble and natural textures against a restrained palette. Furnished balconies and terraces are integral to every category, opening towards either the Aegean or the island landscape and giving each room its own outdoor living space.
Sea view Sun and Island Suites make particularly good use of the coastal setting, while Summer and Senses Suites introduce private pools for greater seclusion. The Honeymoon Suite sits at the top of the collection with its own pool, Jacuzzi and sea view, creating an especially private corner for couples.
Dining
Food is one of the strongest reasons to choose Summer Senses. Galazia Hytra brings the creativity of acclaimed Athens restaurant Hytra to Paros, interpreting Greek ingredients and flavours with a more ambitious culinary approach. It gives the resort a genuine destination restaurant rather than simply a formal dining option for the evening.
Gaia looks closer to the island itself, celebrating traditional Greek and Cycladic cooking in a relaxed setting. Hydor Pool Bar handles easy daytime drinks and lighter dishes beside the water, while Irida Lounge Bar takes over as evening approaches, creating a natural progression from a day in the sun to cocktails and dinner.
Experience
Punda Beach brings another energy to the stay, particularly for guests drawn to the water and the island's summer sports. The surrounding coast is well suited to active days, while bicycle hire and excursions provide an easy route into the villages, beaches and landscapes beyond the resort.
There is just as much pleasure in staying close to home. With several pools, extensive gardens and plenty of room between the different terraces, Summer Senses gives guests space to find their own corner, whether travelling as a couple or family. Babysitting is also available, adding useful flexibility for parents who want an evening to themselves.
Wellness
Anassa Spa by Idolo provides a substantial wellness element, with massage, facials and body rituals joined by a sauna and dedicated relaxation spaces. Couples treatments and more focused therapies allow the experience to be tailored, while a fully equipped fitness centre provides an active counterpart to slower hours in the spa.
Where
The resort lies at Logaras on the east coast of Paros, with Punda Beach close by and the traditional villages and beaches of this side of the island within easy reach. It is a particularly good position for discovering eastern Paros while retaining the breadth of facilities and dining that make Summer Senses a destination in its own right.
