Our View
We love how AMOH turns its peninsula setting into the heart of the stay, with two distinctive coves, the ancient quarry and beautifully considered dining creating a strong sense of place. It is our pick for couples and families seeking privacy without sacrificing choice.
AMOH, a Luxury Collection Resort, Rhodes inhabits a secluded peninsula near Lindos, shaped by two private coves, an ancient stone quarry and sweeping Mediterranean views.
The landscape is not simply a backdrop here; it gives the resort its structure and character. Buildings follow the contours of the peninsula, terraces turn towards the water and pathways weave through planted gardens and weathered stone. At its heart, the preserved quarry brings the island’s geology and history into everyday view, creating a setting that feels unmistakably rooted in Rhodes.
Inside, the mood is contemporary yet grounded. Timber, stone, ceramics and tactile references to local craftsmanship bring warmth to restrained interiors, while generous openings allow the strong Aegean light to shape each space. Despite the resort’s breadth, its coves, gardens and terraces create smaller pockets of atmosphere, balancing a sense of occasion with genuine privacy.
Rooms & Suites
Rooms and suites span approximately 32 to 178 square metres, with every category extending onto a private balcony or terrace. The collection includes inland and sea-facing options, one and two-level arrangements and selected accommodation with private pools, giving guests meaningful choices in outlook, space and seclusion.
Hemera Hideaways form the more intimate end of the collection, with a choice of inland or sea views and the option of a private pool. Selena Suites provide additional room for longer stays, while the Rhoda Presidential Suite places the emphasis firmly on expansive living, outdoor space and a private pool overlooking the sea.
Throughout, the accommodation shares a calm, considered aesthetic. Natural textures and a restrained palette keep the rooms closely connected to their surroundings, while the terraces ensure outdoor living feels integral to the experience rather than an afterthought.
Dining
With four restaurants, four bars and lounges, and a dedicated patisserie, dining has enough range to give each part of the day its own rhythm. Lithos begins with a generous Mediterranean breakfast before adopting a more refined à la carte character in the evening.
Cava Di Pietra draws much of its atmosphere from its position beside the ancient quarry, matching that distinctive setting with Italian recipes rooted in family tradition. Glaze is more polished in tone, centring its menu on aged meats from the Josper grill alongside sushi and an intimate teppanyaki experience.
Beside the water, Kymata takes a contemporary approach to Greek seafood, allowing local catch and seasonal ingredients to reflect the resort’s coastal setting. Its relationship with the neighbouring beach makes it an especially natural choice for unhurried lunches near the shoreline.
Oniro Patisserie brings a modern touch to Greek pastries and artisanal ice cream, while the AMOH Lounge Bar offers cocktails, premium spirits, substantial bites and desserts in an elegant social setting. The six-seat Cigar Lounge is deliberately more intimate, with handcrafted drinks and considered pairings served in richly furnished surroundings.
Isle Pool Bar and Amohnite Beach Bar keep daytime dining relaxed, covering everything from coffee, smoothies and light dishes to wine and cocktails. Together, the venues give the resort a welcome change of pace between breakfast, beachside afternoons and more composed evenings.
Experience
The peninsula descends to two coves with markedly different personalities. Kymata Beach is the more exclusive retreat, accommodating only twelve guests across two raised terraces above a quiet bay. Food and drinks are served from Kymata Restaurant, allowing the shoreline to become an intimate extension of the dining experience.
Kavos Beach has a broader, easier-going character, with golden sand, sheltered water and service from the nearby beach bar. The contrast between the two allows guests to move from near-total quiet to a more relaxed day beside the sea without leaving the peninsula.
An outdoor pool provides a further place to settle into the sunshine, but the resort’s defining pleasure lies in the way its spaces connect. Days can unfold between the water, long lunches, garden paths and stone terraces, before evenings gather around the quarry and its striking sense of place.
Wellness
ELISPA has the substance of a fully developed wellness destination. Six individual treatment rooms are joined by a private couples’ suite with its own Jacuzzi, as well as a steam bath, sauna, wet lounge and dedicated relaxation areas. A hair and nail salon broadens the offering beyond treatments alone.
The fitness facilities are equally considered, combining Technogym equipment with personal training, yoga, reformer Pilates and digital coaching. Indoor and outdoor swimming add further variety, making the wellness programme well suited to guests who want movement and training to remain an active part of their stay.
Where
AMOH occupies a private peninsula on the southeastern coast of Rhodes, close to the whitewashed village of Lindos and its ancient Acropolis. Its position brings one of the island’s most compelling historic areas within reach, while the protected coves, preserved quarry and uninterrupted sea views give the resort a secluded world of its own.
