Esperos Blue Village & Spa

Spread across a pine covered hillside above Faliraki, Esperos Village Blue & Spa is an adults only retreat with panoramic Aegean views, 209 rooms and suites and an unusual village layout where pools and terraces appear at different levels throughout the landscape.

This is a hotel that makes far more sense as a village than a conventional resort. Its 78,000 square metres unfold across the hillside in a series of separate quarters, with paths winding between gardens, accommodation and swimming pools rather than everything gathering around a single central building. The elevation means the sea repeatedly appears between the pines, often when you least expect it, and gives much of the property a wonderfully open outlook.

The scale also creates variety. Some corners feel almost residential, others open onto pools and terraces, while the higher levels command broad views across Faliraki and the Aegean. A complimentary shuttle connects the different areas and continues down to Ammades Beach, making it easy to enjoy the hillside setting without thinking too much about the climb back afterwards.

Rooms & Suites

The accommodation is unusually varied, with several distinct styles spread through the village. Country Style Rooms have a warmer Mediterranean character, while Summer and Exclusive Rooms introduce cleaner contemporary interiors and different relationships with the pools. Across the categories, sea views remain one of the great strengths of staying this high above the coast.

Private pool rooms appear throughout the collection, including Country Style, Summer, Skyline and Exclusive categories, allowing you to choose the style and position that suits you rather than simply moving upwards through increasingly similar rooms. Sharing pool rooms offer another appealing option, with water directly outside while retaining the more sociable feel of a shared swimming space.

The suites occupy the top of the collection. Sea view suites with sharing pools provide generous outdoor living, while the Belvedere Private Suite combines its elevated outlook with a private pool. The SeaPine Flow Suite takes the idea furthest, creating a more secluded pool retreat within the hillside surroundings.

Dining

Four restaurants give evenings plenty of scope to change character. Aphrodite Food Hall handles the generous buffet side of the hotel, while Panorama pairs dinner with elevated views and live music. Mediterraneo brings à la carte Mediterranean cooking to the poolside, making it as appealing for an unhurried lunch as it is later in the day.

Burger House Project adds something deliberately casual to the collection, while three bars provide different stopping points across the hillside. Aegean Main Bar has both indoor and outdoor spaces for evening drinks, and Mediterraneo Pool Bar is made for something cold between swims.

Down at Ammades Beach, the Seaside Restaurant & Bar extends the experience to the water, so a beach day does not require abandoning the comforts of the hotel altogether. It is another example of how the different parts of Esperos Village work together rather than relying on one central hub.

Experience

Swimming is naturally a large part of life here. Two main outdoor pools are joined by six sharing pools woven through the accommodation, creating a collection of different places to spend the day rather than one enormous pool deck. One of the main pools is heated during the cooler months, extending the season for anyone who actually intends to get into the water rather than simply admire it.

Ammades Beach is approximately 600 metres downhill and the hotel shuttle runs between the different quarters and the coast. Yoga provides a gentle start to the morning, while the fitness centre, table tennis and nearby activities offer alternatives when another afternoon beside the pool feels almost too indulgent.

Evenings have their own rhythm, with regular live music and entertainment bringing people together after dinner. The atmosphere remains unmistakably adult, allowing the hotel to be sociable when you want company while its size and hillside layout leave plenty of room to disappear somewhere quieter.

Wellness

Idolo Spa provides a substantial wellness space within the village, with a hammam, sauna, hot tub and relaxation areas alongside massages, beauty therapies and spa treatments. The fitness centre and yoga programme complement the spa for guests who prefer something more active.

There is an appealing contrast between spending an hour tucked away in the spa and emerging again onto the hillside with the Aegean stretching below. For guests staying in one of the private pool rooms or suites, the final stage of the treatment can very easily become an afternoon back beside their own water.
