Set within a mature olive grove on Rhodes’ east coast, The Landmark Villas & Spa is a private villa retreat that leans firmly into space, autonomy and a more residential style of luxury, where everything is designed around having your own base rather than orbiting a central hotel.

The layout is deliberately low density, with just 24 standalone villas arranged across two distinct neighbourhoods, each with its own architectural identity. One draws on Dodecanese influences, the other on early 20th century Rhodian design, but both are tied together by landscaped gardens, open courtyards and a shared sense of privacy that runs through the entire property.

It feels more like a curated estate than a resort, with the olive grove setting doing a lot of the work in keeping everything calm, contained and separate from the outside.

Staying

Accommodation is entirely villa-based, with multi-bedroom layouts that are built for flexibility rather than short stays. The Three Bedroom Premium Villa with Private Pool and the Four Bedroom Grand Royal Villa with Private Heated Pool are the standouts, both offering a clear step up in scale and outdoor space.

Every villa comes with its own pool, garden setting and outdoor dining area with BBQ, along with fully equipped interiors that allow you to treat it more like a private residence than a hotel room.

Dining is centred around Cymino, positioned by the main pool and handling the core restaurant offering with a mix of Greek and Mediterranean dishes. Marco Polo by Landmark adds a second option, while Coriandolino Bar provides a more relaxed setting for drinks throughout the day.

The Attavyros Cave wine cellar is where things shift slightly, offering a more considered experience through tastings and small masterclasses that focus on Greek wines rather than just listing them.

Experience

The experience balances villa privacy with a handful of shared spaces that you can dip into as needed. The Paralia pool acts as the central point, while areas like Avli bring in a more social element through cooking sessions and small events.

There’s a clear family-friendly angle here, but the scale of the villas means it never feels crowded or over-managed.

Wellness

The Elixirion Spa is positioned as a proper standalone space, with treatments built around olive oil traditions alongside a thermal pool, sauna and steam facilities, supported by a gym and dedicated yoga area.

Where

Located in Kolymbia on Rhodes’ east coast, the resort sits close to Kolymbia village and within easy reach of Afandou and Tsambika beaches, approximately 25 kilometres from Rhodes International Airport.
