Santo Pure Oia Suite & Villas

On the western edge of Oia, Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas is a spacious Santorini retreat of 83 suites and two villas, arranged as six garden filled neighbourhoods around six pools with sweeping Aegean and sunset views.

Santo Pure takes a refreshingly expansive approach to Oia. Instead of following the dense cliffside pattern of the village, its whitewashed buildings spread across the landscape in a series of low rise clusters, connected by pathways and Mediterranean gardens. Domes, curves and brilliant Cycladic white are punctuated by lava black details, giving the architecture a contemporary edge while remaining unmistakably Santorinian.

The scale has been handled particularly well. Akratos Pool Bar carries the mood through the daytime with drinks and lighter dishes beside the water, while breakfast can also be enjoyed privately. The emphasis throughout is on lingering over food and allowing meals to follow the slower rhythm of the resort, particularly when the western sky begins its nightly transformation.

Six outdoor pools are an unusually generous luxury on Santorini and fundamentally change the feel of the hotel.
