Elivi, Skiathos

Between Koukounaries and Banana Beach on Skiathos’ pine covered southwest coast, Elivi Skiathos spreads across 213 acres of forest and shoreline, combining three distinct accommodation collections with direct access to some of the island’s most celebrated beaches.

The scale is considerable, but Elivi never reads as a single monolithic resort. Instead, it unfolds gradually through pine forest, gardens and coastal paths, with the Xenia Hotel, Grace Rooms & Suites and Nest collections each creating their own rhythm. The setting does much of the heavy lifting. Koukounaries lies immediately alongside the resort, Banana Beach is close by and the surrounding forest gives the entire property a strong sense of place. Accommodation is broad enough to suit very different styles of stay. The Xenia Hotel offers the most classic arrangement, including Double Xenia rooms and swim up options, while the Grace collection introduces more contemporary suites with private pools, hot tubs and direct beachfront positions.

The Nest collections go further again, with larger suites, interconnected layouts and villas spread through both the Infinity and Grove areas. Junior and Premium Suites are available with either private pools or hot tubs, while interconnected options work particularly well for families and groups wanting extra space without losing privacy.

At the top end, the Grace Suite, Nest Suite, Sunset Suite and Swan Villa each bring a more distinctive sense of scale and position. The strongest categories combine generous interiors with sea facing terraces and private outdoor space, making them natural choices for guests who want the resort around them without feeling dependent on its shared areas.

Dining

Dining is as varied as the accommodation. Xenia Restaurant and Nest Restaurant handle breakfast in their respective areas, while Leda & The Swan moves into a more refined Mediterranean style for dinner and gives evenings a different tone from the more casual daytime venues.

Nest Greek Fish Restaurant keeps things close to the island with seafood and local flavours, while Grace Restaurant adds an Italian influence and Hagoromo provides another distinct evening option. Elevate Bar brings sushi and cocktails into the mix, and the wider collection of bars makes it easy to shift from beach drinks to something more polished later in the day.

That spread works especially well across such a large property. Rather than returning to the same area each evening, guests can move between different parts of the resort and make dinner feel like part of the exploration rather than simply another meal.

Experience

The beaches are the real anchors of the Elivi experience. Koukounaries sits just beyond the resort and Banana Beach is similarly close, giving guests immediate access to two of Skiathos’ best known stretches of coast without needing to plan a day around getting there.

Two outdoor pools, including an infinity pool, provide an alternative to the sea, while tennis, an outdoor gym, basketball and a wide range of water sports add plenty of movement. Snorkelling, diving, cycling and hiking open up the wider landscape too, which suits a resort built within such a large natural setting.

Families are equally well catered for, with a kids club, play areas and accommodation options that make longer stays practical, while the resort’s layout allows adults to seek out quieter parts of the property whenever they want a slower pace.

Wellness

Elivi Spa gives wellness a proper place within the resort, with an indoor pool, hammam, sauna and treatment rooms offering massage and beauty therapies. Yoga, fitness sessions and personal training add structure for guests who want it, while the surrounding forest and coastline provide a naturally restorative backdrop.

The spa works particularly well as a counterpoint to the beach focused side of the hotel, giving the stay another dimension on days when a quieter few hours feel more appealing than staying by the water.
