Soneva Jani

Soneva Jani occupies an immense lagoon in Noonu Atoll where vast overwater villas, remarkable space and a strong sense of imagination have created one of the most recognisable resort experiences in the Maldives.

Everything at Soneva Jani is built around the scale of its setting. The resort stretches across a 5.6 kilometre lagoon of shifting blues, with long wooden walkways extending far into open water and very little visible beyond the horizon. Staying

The accommodation is amongst the most impressive in the Indian Ocean. Many have become icons of Maldivian luxury, particularly the Water Retreats and Water Reserves with their retractable bedroom roofs and slides descending directly into the water below.

The Director's Cut combines Japanese inspired cuisine with the resort's overwater silent cinema, while Overseas by Mathias Dahlgren brings a more refined dining experience. Experience

The lagoon itself shapes much of daily life. Snorkelling, diving, sailing, paddleboarding and windsurfing all take place within easy reach of the villas, while excursions explore the wider atoll's reefs, sandbanks and marine life.
