Caelia is a contemporary villa in Santorini, designed for up to four guests and positioned right on the caldera edge in the beautiful village of Imerovigli.

Sitting directly above the Aegean, it offers a wonderful sense of privacy while still feeling part of the island’s gentle rhythm, with the horizon and famous sunsets always present. The whitewashed terrace, private infinity pool and serene interiors place gentle emphasis on light, open space and the shifting colours of the sky — making it a lovely choice for couples or close friends who wish to slow down and simply be, without stepping away from the caldera line.

    Outdoors

Step onto the terrace and the entire space turns naturally toward the view. The private pool runs along the edge, with floating loungers and comfortable seating placed thoughtfully for long, peaceful hours outdoors. Several lounge areas let you follow the sun or find shade as the day unfolds, while the open-air heated jacuzzi provides a calm, secluded spot for a soothing soak. The outdoor dining area is ready for easy breakfasts, relaxed lunches or quiet dinners as the sun slips down directly ahead — there really is no need to venture elsewhere for Santorini’s celebrated sunset.

    Indoors

Inside, Caelia embraces a clean, contemporary coastal style that quietly echoes the surroundings: simple lines, soft pale tones and natural textures create an open, tranquil atmosphere. The main level unites the living and dining space with a fully equipped kitchen, all flowing straight out to the pool terrace so the boundary between inside and outside feels delightfully blurred. Two master bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom, ensure comfort and privacy, while a small wellness area on the lower level — complete with gym equipment and a sauna — offers a gentle place to relax or maintain a light fitness routine.

    Good to know

Caelia sits in Imerovigli, one of Santorini’s most scenic villages, so cafés and restaurants are just steps away — no car needed for most outings. Fira is a short drive for additional shops and a livelier evening when the mood strikes. The closest beach, Vourvoulos, is an unorganised stretch of shore about 15 minutes by car, so a little planning helps if a sea swim is on the wish list. That said, many guests prefer to stay close, making the most of the villa’s pool, jacuzzi and sunset-facing terrace from morning until the sky turns pink and gold.
