Mana Pools

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mana Pools National Park stretches along the southern bank of the Zambezi River, its floodplains, lagoons and albida forests supporting one of Zimbabwe's richest wildlife ecosystems. Together with the neighbouring Sapi Reserve, it forms a vast protected landscape where elephant, buffalo, lion, leopard, African wild dog and countless bird species roam freely.

Mana Pools is best experienced slowly. Walking safaris, canoeing on the Zambezi and expertly guided game drives bring visitors closer to the landscape than almost anywhere else in Africa, while a handful of intimate luxury camps ensure the emphasis remains on the wilderness rather than the infrastructure.
